ABOUT THE ROLE
The Media Specialist is a mid-level role responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating media campaigns across digital channels. Working closely with the Media Manager and cross-functional teams, you will drive integrated media strategies from brief to post-campaign review – while maintaining a sharp view of the competitive landscape and ensuring agency partners deliver to the highest standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Media Strategy & Planning (30%)
- Develop and own media approach & detail plan across media channels including TV/Digital/OOH, aligned to brand objectives and campaign KPIs
- Lead the full campaign lifecycle – from media brief development through execution, optimization, and post-campaign review
- Define measurable objectives, set KPIs, and recommend appropriate measurement methodology for each campaign
- Continuously monitor market and platform trends to identify opportunities and keep strategies current
Agency & Stakeholder Management (30%)
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for internal functional team & media agency partners, ensuring alignment on strategy, timelines, and deliverables
- Review and evaluate agency proposals/detail plan, providing structured feedback to ensure output meets brief requirements
- Identify and resolve operational issues with agencies promptly, escalating to leadership when needed
Campaign Execution & Optimization (40%)
- Oversee the implementation of paid media campaigns across digital platforms, ensuring quality and effectiveness
- Monitor campaign performance regularly, driving optimization based on data and platform insights
- Guide and supervise the Media Executive in day-to-day execution and reporting tasks
Data, Analytics & Competitive Intelligence
- Leverage digital analytics tools to track campaign performance and derive actionable insights
- Translate data and intelligence into clear, compelling presentations for internal and external audiences
KINH NGHIỆM YÊU CẦU
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years of experience in digital media planning and execution, preferably in a brand or media agency environment
- Hands-on experience with major digital media platforms and their respective ads managers
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; able to work with large datasets and build clear presentations
- Solid understanding of digital analytics tools and performance tracking methodology
- Strong written and spoken English and Vietnamese — a must
- Demonstrated ability to manage agency relationships and collaborate across multiple internal teams

- Strategic thinking: Able to connect media decisions to business outcomes, not just platform metrics
- Stakeholder influence: Comfortable presenting to and aligning senior leadership and external partners
- Adaptability: Able to pivot plans quickly in response to market shifts or campaign performance signals
- Growth mindset: Stays ahead of new media formats, platforms, and industry developments
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience managing junior team members
- Competitive intelligence or social listening exposure
- Understanding of integrated media planning (online & offline)
- Experience evaluating or benchmarking agency proposals
